Women Transforming the Real Estate World
Today, I want to write something a little different.
International Women’s Day is a moment to pause and recognize those who have transformed entire industries. And women in real estate have played a powerful role in shaping this one.
Throughout my experience in Florida, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside incredible women — agents, investors, team leaders, and developers. Many times, they’re the ones navigating complex negotiations with strength, while never losing the human touch this business truly requires.
And that makes a real difference.
Women in Real Estate Who Paved the Way
Before we talk about today, it’s important to acknowledge the women who helped shape the industry:
Dorothy Green
One of the early female real estate developers in the United States, at a time when female leadership in the industry was rare.
Barbara Corcoran
Founder of one of New York’s most influential real estate firms, she redefined how properties were marketed and positioned.
Mary Ann Tighe
A major figure in U.S. commercial real estate, with a significant impact on the corporate market.
They proved that vision and leadership know no gender.
The Impact Today
Today, women in real estate are leading teams, structuring investments, and developing communities in cities like Miami.
They bring strategy, intuition, and a holistic understanding of what “home” really means. They know this business isn’t just about properties — it’s about life decisions, families, and long-term goals.
That perspective elevates the entire industry.
I don’t want to end this with a call to action.
I want to end it with gratitude.
Happy International Women’s Day to all the women in this industry.
To the leaders, the rising professionals, and the ones working behind the scenes every single day.
And a very special recognition to the women who are part of the Top Investors Miami team. Your dedication and vision make an impact every day.
Thank you for everything.
Happy Women’s Day 💐✨
